Stella Hiemstra

CEO & Founder - SolidTrust Pay

Ms. Hiemstra opened her own private music studio in Estevan, Saskatchewan, launching her career as an entrepreneur at the age of 14. She attended the Universities of Saskatchewan and Calgary, and completed her studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. To support her new online music publishing company, Ms. Hiemstra established 'solidtrustpay.com' (STPay) as an alternative to PayPal. It is well known that 'Music Is Math', so the concept of a classically trained musician founding an online payment services provider is truly harmonious. STPay, a new boutique e-wallet service, quickly proliferated through the market. Today, it serves clients in almost every country around the world, including a host of entrepreneurs, start-ups and MLM companies. STPay was the first e-wallet provider to require mandatory AML and KYC documentation from clients. The company refused to fall prey to the lure of 'anonymous accounts' simply for ease of entry. Ms. Hiemstra is now preparing to launch STPay Euro, Ltd. December, 2014 to facilitate greater expansion into Europe. STPay also owns a dedicated customer support call centre with offices in Halifax, Nova Scotia and Bobcaygeon, Ontario. Bobcaygeon serves as the primary customer service location, constituting the third largest employer in the town. Ms. Hiemstra is very proud of her dedicated and loyal staff. In Bobcaygeon, purely by chance, STPay employs an all-female team, ages 22 to 57. In addition to serving as the CEO of SolidTrust Pay, Ms. Hiemstra sits on the Board of Examiners of the Royal Conservatory of Toronto. She is also active as a music adjudicator and clinician.
